International Students in Business (ISB) is a new student organization in University of Northern Iowa (UNI) starting from Fall 2017.
ISB was created to become the voice of international students within UNIBusiness while also supporting their success.
The purpose of this student organization is to bring international students who are admitted in the UNI College Of Business all together and assist them to utilize the opportunities & resources, therefore perform better both inside UNI and outside in the business world.
The majority of our organization is composed of international students admitted or declared in UNIBusiness along with having the passion, enthusiasm, and commitment to succeed both in UNI and the business world.
ISB especially focuses on first-year students along with transfer international students who seem to struggle with transitions in the business college. ISB aims to assist, lead, and connect following students to faculty, staff, & other fellow students to make them feel more comfortable and belonging on campus.

The following are required to be qualified as an official member of ISB:
1. Must be admitted/declared as a business major in the UNIBusiness department.
2. No minimum GPA requirement or credit requirement.
3. No registration/additional fees to join this organization.
*People who are not a business major but are passionate about the organization are allowed but will only be accepted in small numbers.
A complete registration form must be completed in CBB210 by meeting with the advisor Professor Shahina Amin or contacting through shahina.amin@uni.edu or parksaf@uni.edu.
Recruitment will be held throughout the whole semester and renewed each semester.
